Brey-Krause Harness Bar

Sharing my FS post here, as this is a specialty track item that isn't getting much attention in the general classifieds section.

Selling my Brey-Krause harness bar, as I've since added a full rear cage to my F30. This setup has been outstanding, as it's easy to install for track days, and remove for full use of the rear seats after returning from the track. It was designed for fitment in both an F30 or F80, and is in like-new condition; totally rock solid, with no rattles or squeaks.

Can be run with the rear seat completely in place, or you can easily remove the rear seat (just a few bolts... which is how I ran it to save weight ; )

These harness bars are awesome and thoroughly designed for safety. Research Brey Kraus If you have any doubts.

Also, removing 2 bolts allows the bar to fold down or forward to load a full set of track wheels into the back with ease.

Great solution to progress to 6 point harness before going the cage route.

Yes, they are about as strong as it gets. (If I recall correctly, the other car that's very highly rated in this regard is the Subaru BRZ.)

These BK harness bars are fantastic. I've been running them since the E9X came out

They don't make one for the F82? I can't find one on their site.

Give them a call. I'm pretty sure they do.

If/when I buy a G80 I'll drop it off there for them to develop the bar. I did that for my E90 back in the day and that's why it exists now.

Great outfit. They used to have the best engineering guy there developing them

Ian doesn't work there anymore.... hopefully they're still developing new products.

I would also be a buyer for an F82, will give them a call and report back. I'm tired of these stock seats and 3 point belt, time for a new Recaro and harness bar which would also allow the use of a HANS device for added safety.
