WAGNER TMIC CHARGE COOLER issues/ questions

I just installed a wagner charge cooler. Filled with vacuum fluid pump tool. Did the electric bleed like 3 times after. Filled to full marker in top resi fluid tank...

Drove the car a few days and just checked fluid again..... not only is the fluid not blue anymore but clear and it's at the minimum lever instead of max

Why did it turn clear when it was blue and why did it lower when I purged it like 3 times??

Should I be worried this WAGNER cooler is leaking into motor like stock ones do?

Please share experiences

You siphoned off some fluid and confirmed it's in fact clear??? I can think of no way that could ever happen, unless someone is pulling the most elaborate prank on you ever.

Going from max to min isn't super-concerning -- when you're checking, you're doing so at equivalent engine temps? When you did the vacuum fill, I presume you got a good stable vacuum before letting the fluid in? If so, then I wouldn't worry about the amount. Having to top up slightly I think is normal.

I would take the level again and check after a hundred miles. Maybe it didn't purge well. As for the color, you reassured me because even mine, which has never been changed, is almost transparent while the same liquid in the engine cooling circuit is blue.

I installed a Mishimoto TMIC a few months ago. The level def dropped a bit after initial install. I was topping it off and checking regularly for a few weeks, because I was def paranoid about it. It def stabilized after that. Also, after a hard run, the TMIC usually does feel quite cooler than the rest of the engine bay.

I couldn’t tell you about color, because I was topping off with distilled water.

It will take 100+ miles of driving before the level stabilizes. Keep topping off when the engine is COLD in the morning until it is fully level.

Normal. After install I did the bleed procedure countless times and still had to top it off like 3-4 times. Fluid level hasn’t moved since fully topped off.
