Painting chargepipes & intakes
Has anyone used regular automotive paint as opposed to powder coating their charge pipes & intakes? I figured it would be okay considering they're not high temp items, and some A/M charge pipes even come in silicone. My car just surprised me with a crank hub job so I am trying to save some $$$ and I can get them painted for free as opposed to have a different shop powder coat them for me to match the car.

Yes I have and they turned out great! Bought a cheap gun from HF and it worked great. Ended up putting 3 coats on and they have held up for almost a year.
